Nightstop Sussex places young people (aged 16-25) and adults (aged 26+) who have nowhere to stay in Brighton and Hove in trained volunteers’ spare rooms.

Young people and adults receive a private room, a warm meal and somewhere safe to stay for the night, whilst we look for a more permanent solution. Nightstop in Sussex is delivered by the local homelessness charity Sussex Nightstop.

Local Information

Sussex Nightstop is a registered charity that enables those living in the community to be part of the response to homelessness, and gives those experiencing or at risk of homelessness the opportunity to sleep safely whilst securing a more suitable longer-term home. Operational across Brighton and Hove, the project recruits, trains and manages volunteers from the local and closely surrounding areas who have a spare room to offer and the skills and attributes necessarily to host safely.

Sussex Nightstop accepts referrals from trusted partner organisations. Self-referrals are not accepted.
